Recording with a Microphone

What suggestions do you have for other students who want to record sounds or music via microphone? Be sure to credit yourself when you add a suggestion.

Suggestion 1: If you are using the microphone don't speak too loudly into it. Speak quietly don't yell and keep it far away from your mouth as you are talking or it sounds fuzzy. Mary T.- Grade 8

Suggestion 2: Try not to laugh becuse it sounds bad. Ben R. Grade 7

Suggestion 3: When you are recording with a microphone, always make sure it is ON before you start! You should also avoid moving it around too much or letting background sounds interfere. That way people dont here your surroundings and can focus on what you recorded.
